“The Show MUST go on” …and with that being said, The HCC Theater Department didn’t let the Covid-19 Quarantine stop their vision. Although the College was closed, the Theater Department still performed their end of the semester play entitled ‘The Mind of a Child’ on their virtual stage. Nasia talks with student actress, editor, and co-head writer Dakara Bon and the Associate Professor of Theatre Dr. Ben Fisler about the play and the process they had to follow to get all of the HCC actors together on Zoom to pull it all off. Since the Coronavirus pandemic hit, the campus has been shut down. Matt Terry speaks with interim President Dr. Jackson about how the college has adapted, and continues to serve our student body and keep our staff safe. Later, Nasia Creamer sits down for an interview with Elizabeth Mosser, Associate Dean for Academic Operations and Jennie Towner, Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness at HCC. They discuss the 2nd Annual Leadership Conference at Harford Community College, a conference featuring a Q&A with a panel of women in leadership roles, keynote speaker Sharon Jacobs and other open discussions.
Matt speaks with Sandra Clifford, Director for Procurement about her role, the department's vital function on campus, potential student opportunities, and the process Procurement undergoes when purchasing for the college. Then Lauren Ciambruschini, Communications Specialist, talks to Matt about her many roles on campus managing the college's social media, event reporting, graphic design and more; as well as shadow days for students interested in learning at the Communications Department.
